Understand specific mental health difficulties

Focused training for organisations and groups that want to understand particular mental health difficulties more clearly and feel better prepared to respond when someone may need support.

Broad mental health awareness is useful, but sometimes a team or organisation wants to explore a particular subject in more depth. Understanding common signs, experiences and misconceptions can make unfamiliar situations feel less daunting and help people respond more thoughtfully.

The training below looks at individual areas of mental health in a practical and accessible way. It is not about diagnosing people. The aim is to build understanding, challenge misconceptions and give participants greater confidence around conversations, support and routes to further help.
