Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA)
A 12-hour programme developing the knowledge and practical skills to offer initial support to someone experiencing mental health distress and help them towards further support.
Practical, in-person mental health training for workplaces, organisations and communities across Moray.
Green Ribbons works with organisations, workplaces and communities across Moray. The area brings together busy towns, smaller settlements and widely dispersed rural communities, with working lives shaped by very different sectors and circumstances.
Good mental health training needs to make sense in that context. A small business without a dedicated HR team may need something different from a large public-sector organisation. Farming, land-based work, hospitality, education, care, manufacturing and distilling all bring their own working patterns, pressures and opportunities for people to support one another.
Our approach is practical and in person. We help people build confidence to notice when someone may be struggling, have useful conversations and understand what support may be available, while adapting the training around the people and situations in the room.
Choose from established mental health courses and shorter modules, or talk to us about adapting training around your organisation.
